Guidelines and Safety Protocols 

what to expect for In Person Classes:

1)    Entering and Exiting the Building:

  • **IMPORTANT: At this time only classes with students ages 5 and up can be dropped off and picked up only. Other Adults are not allowed in the studio unless they are taking an adult class. If you would like to watch your child in class we can offer a link to the live zoom so you can watch digitally.

  • DROP OFFS:  Please arrive in dance attire and wait outside the East side of the studio for drop offs.  

  • PICK UPS:  Please pick up students from the West side of the building (back exit).

Parents drop off and pick up only for ages 5 and up.  For all preschool aged classes only (3-5yrs) there is only one parent or guardian allowed per each student in the space. If you prefer for all other classes you may stand with your child outside for drop off and pick-ups. The last 10 min of each class parents (other than the preschool class ages 3-5) are allowed in the studio space to observe classes.

*Dance shoes must ONLY be used within the dance studio and not outside or in your home!! Our Dance floors are VERY Expensive and cleaned constantly.  When you wear your outside shoes on the dance floors it wrecks both the dance shoes and our floors!

2)    Monitoring the Health of our Students and Staff: 

Student Illness:

Does it seem like your child is sick or like they are starting to get sick?   If so PLEASE KEEP YOUR CHILD AT HOME! This also is our policy for teachers and staff.

If your child has any contagious illness do not bring them to dance class until they are no longer contagious and are no longer sick.

**YOU MUST NOTIFY US ASAP WHEN YOU OR SOMEONE IN YOUR FAMILY HAS TESTED POSITIVE TO COVID.  This helps us all stay safe and take the right precautions when there is exposure.

3)    Hand washing Before and After Each Dance Class:

  • Teachers and staff must wash hands upon arrival, between classes, and prior to leaving the facility or use the hand sanitizer provided.

  •  All students must wash their hands for at least 20 sec with soap and water before and after each class or use the hand sanitizer provided.

4)    Frequent cleaning of studio and common spaces before and after each class:

  • Increased disinfecting high touch and common areas including floors, doorknobs, and chairs. 

  • Continued disinfecting of studio, bathroom, and other places.

  • Teachers will continue to remind and assist with hand washing before and after class, as well as using sanitizer in class as needed. 

5)    Limiting All Class Sizes:

*Note for all Punch Card Drop in Classes you must reserve your spot in a Class Via Sign Up GeniuS.

  • (3-5yrs) – Pre-school classes - limited to 8 students per class and 1 parent per student max only in Preschool classes

  • (5-8yrs) - 9 students

  • (8-11yrs) - 12 students

  • (11 to Adult) - 12 students

  • 18+ - 12 students

6)  Please bring Water Bottles to Class: 

  • Students must bring their own water bottle. We strongly encourage using reusable water bottles filled at home. Water bottles left in the facility will be held for one week and then recycled.  Please print your name and contact info on the water bottle.

  • NO FOOD, GUM, OR OTHER DRINKS ALLOWED in the studio.

    7)  MAKE UP ABSENCES:

  • A recorded class based on each child’s ability, age, and dance form will be available for absences. 

  • At this time, we will not be holding in studio make up classes…only recorded classes for at home makeup classes.
